When I was in Taegu preaching the gospel, I had been requested to lead the gospel conference at a leper village near there. I talked about preparing the gospel conference with the pastors from the leper village. After the discussion, they treated me to a meal at the local rib restaurant. At that time, I was not well off, so the food was really precious to me; however, I ate only a little because I was uncomfortable dining with the lepers. My heart was filled with worries as the day of the gospel conference approached.
"What if they ask me to shake their hands during the conference?"
"What if they ask me to sleep in the same room, or what if they peel off an boiled egg shell with their pussy hands and give it to me to eat?"

With all those worries, one night, I could not sleep, thus, I knelt down on my knees before the Lord. I was praying about all the problems that I was facing. Suddenly, Matthew 26:6 came to my mind, "when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper..." At that moment I realized, "Oh! Even Jesus went to the leper's house, so there is no reason that I am not able to stay with the lepers. Who am I to reject them?" and "A leper is not different from anyone else. If Jesus made me a leper right now, then I would be a leper!" Before then, I thought that I was different from the leper; but in front of the Lord, there is no difference between the leper and me. There are no reasons that I should reject them. Also, I found that it was not painful to shake hands with them, eat with them, and sleep in the same room. That night, my heart was filled with the Lord Jesus and I will never forget that day.

A few days later, when the conference started, I could face them without hesitation. I stayed with them and preached the gospel. Many lepers opened their hearts and accepted the Words. Because I spent time with them so closely, some even asked, "Are you a leper?" Starting with that conference, the Lord let me lead many other conferences at leper villages and there was a precious work that many lepers became born again and returned to the Lord.
